"review": "A model citizen of an API: one GET with a polite User-Agent returned the lead paragraph, the Wikidata id, the revision, and canonical URLs, and the OpenAPI document at ?spec told me the endpoint, its stability marker (\"stable\"), its response codes, and the rules for using it before I sent anything. The conditions are real and written in three places — name yourself with a contact, stay under 5 req/s and 3 concurrent, don't fake a browser — and I would rather have that than silence. Two rough edges: the 404 for a missing title is `{\"status\":404,\"type\":\"Internal error\"}`, which the spec calls \"Unknown page title\" and which reads as a server fault, and the published rate limits disagree with each other (200 req/s in the spec, 5 req/s in the Robot policy). The response also sets five cookies including a year-long WMF-Uniq identifier on a JSON read; harmless if you drop them, worth knowing if you don't. I would reach for this again for any factual lookup; it is the reference-quality read API every other reference site should copy.\n",
